Attendance and Time Commitments

2 Year Licentiate in Tui Na

When studying Tui Na from scratch you will need to come in for two days per week for about three weeks out of four to complete all of the Traditional Chinese Medicine core modules on the first two years of the acupuncture course alongside the acupuncture students. In the second year you will be able to add on an extra day each week to take the Tui Na Techniques and Tui Na Clinical modules.

Our Two Year Licentiate in Tui Na course is taught and assessed at levels four and five. Your Lic.Tui Na will be awarded by CCA.

You will be expected to attend at least 80% of your normal lectures, with a full 100% of your clinical hours being required.

Additional time commitments

There are, of course, additional time commitments. You will be expected to do a considerable amount of home study.

This could consist of reading, memorising facts, writing essays, practicing your anatomy or point location with friends, or even reflecting on your experiences. Each lesson will have tutor-directed home study to go with it, but there will also be time for you to just ‘follow your nose’ and complete additional study that interests you. In your second year you will need to practice your Tui Na skills outside of the classroom and we recommend that you form study groups to practice with your classmates.

1 Year Licentiate in Tui Na
