Located in the Old Street area of London, The City College is an independent institution for U.K-based local students. Literally thousands of students have passed through its doors since it was founded in 1979.

The City College is one of only a handful of private colleges to be allowed to use the .ac.uk suffix to its web address (citycollege.ac.uk). This is normally reserved for universities only.

The City College of Acupuncture is a specialist training institution offering qualifications in Acupuncture and Tui Na massage. It is part of the original The City College.
